Pby metal print by Steve Benefiel. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I shot this picture in Palm Springs. I believe the old girl was going to get a fresh coat of paint..The Consolidated PBY Catalina, also known as the Canso in Canadian service, was an American flying boat, and later an amphibious aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s produced by Consolidated Aircraft.

I am not real good at this biography stuff but here goes. I guess you could say I am an incurable nostalgic. I've been told I have an old soul. I enjoy the work of illustrators Gibson, Remington, Wyeth. I started getting into photography after retirement. I consider my camera an invaluable tool in my workflow. But just as important is a good base in software. I am teaching myself photoshop and Corel Painter. I learn thru trial and experimentation. Ok enough about me.
