I never had been to Salton Sea. I decided to go out there and check things out. I had always heard about Bombay Beach. I was taken by all these pieces of wood poking out of the sand . They reminded me of a Crows Nest on a sailing ship
About Steve Benefiel
I am not real good at this biography stuff but here goes. I guess you could say I am an incurable nostalgic. I've been told I have an old soul. I enjoy the work of illustrators Gibson, Remington, Wyeth. I started getting into photography after retirement. I consider my camera an invaluable tool in my workflow. But just as important is a good base in software. I am teaching myself photoshop and Corel Painter. I learn thru trial and experimentation. Ok enough about me.
